Considered one of Hergé’s most beautiful creations, the story of The Adventures of Tintin, reporter in the Far East, was published in black and white in the youth supplement of the Belgian newspaper between August 9, 1934, and October 17, 1935. It would mark a turning point in Hergé’s career and seal his friendship with the sculptor Tchang-Tchong jen.
