This fourth installment in the series, the first album published exclusively by Casterman (the previous ones bore the Éditions du Petit Vingtième imprint) under the title The Adventures of Tintin, Reporter in the Orient: Cigars of the Pharaoh, was released in the autumn of 1934. Tintin sets off in pursuit of opium traffickers across Egypt and India.
