Facsimiles are identical copies of the first editions of Tintin's albums. On a marché sur la Lune is the seventeenth comic book in the Tintin series, initially serialized from March 30, 1950, to December 30, 1953, in the pages of the Tintin journal, overlapping with the previous album: Destination Moon. The album was published in 1954.
