Indian Chief Figurine - Tintin

Like any self-respecting Indian, the sachem seen in Tintin in America (plate 20, panel D3) sports a magnificent “feather headdress” as headgear. He is depicted here as a war chief, arms outstretched, tomahawk in hand, giving orders to his troops to tail the Belgian Pale-Face visiting his lands. In the likeness of the main characters from The Adventures of Tintin, the 12 cm figurines are made of resin, faithful to the details of Hergé’s drawings. These finely crafted pieces are hand-painted.
