Amuseables Horatio Pistachio comes from a most distinguished line. He never fails to point out (always with exquisite politeness) that the pistachio is in fact a seed and not a nut, and that his prestigious ancestors trace their roots back to a sunny orchard in southern Italy.
Behind that fine family name, though, hides a rather shy little soul... But everything changed after an artisan chocolate-making workshop that helped him come out of his shell. Today, Horatio is a pistachio in full bloom! Always at the stove, he shapes truffles by hand or pours filled chocolate bars, fingers all sticky, a smile on his face and his confidence restored.
He has even prepared a batch for you to taste: his own take on the famous "Dubai chocolate". Do be kind: he is still learning to master tempering... but when it comes to tenderness, he has already got it down!
