Left unfinished when Herge died in 1983, Tintin and Alph-Art (1986) was meant to portray the world of cults, drawing Tintin into a milieu that Georges Remi, alias Herge, was fond of: that of contemporary art, of the avant-garde... While this posthumous album can only hint at the outline of the suspended tale, it stands as a testament to the pure, raw state of the extraordinary storytelling and graphic talent of Tintin's creator. Like this adventure, like Tintin himself, we readers too are left magically hanging on Herge's pen.
