In *The Broken Ear* (page 23, frame D9), Diaz hatches yet another plot — one that, as usual, ends in failure. Once the aide-de-camp of General Alcazar, he never got over being demoted to the rank of simple corporal — a punishment he earned after boldly declaring there were “too many colonels and not enough corporals.” Ever since, he’s been scheming for revenge. Unfortunately for him, his bad luck and utter incompetence make him a far more comic than dangerous foe. Comes in a transparent cylindrical box with an illustrated leaflet.
