This green tree frog looks full of energy. Happily, it has been a long time since these little frogs were kept in glass jars as living barometers to predict the weather. Such a job could never have suited it. The green tree frog far prefers to perch on rain-soaked leaves or to clamber nimbly up water plants, thanks to the tiny suction pads at the tips of its toes. Right now it is perfectly content, its belly full of crunchy flies, ready to bask in the sun.
