In 1975, Porsche unveiled the first 911 fitted with a turbo engine: the legendary 911 Turbo, type 930. Initially planned as a small production run to meet FIA homologation requirements, it was such a success that production was widened. Its high performance and aggressive styling, especially that wide rear wing, quickly made it an icon. The 930 became a major landmark in the history of the 911, and one that owners loved to customise.
