In Tintin and the Picaros (plate 25, panel B2), Colonel Alvarez drives his guests to General Tapioca. The general makes the most of the journey to show them a jewel of the local cultural heritage: the famous Paztec pyramid. Tintin, Snowy and their friends seize on this sightseeing trip to slip away quietly and reunite with an old acquaintance: General Alcazar.
