The Red Sea Sharks shines a light on the scandalous practices of modern-day slave traders. Captain Haddock's disbelief will not change a thing: human trafficking still existed in the twentieth century, and, sadly, in the twenty-first too. As with so many other serious matters, Hergé was moved by this dramatic reality and wove it into a story brimming with twists and turns.
