Aboard a polar ship commanded by Captain Haddock, Tintin and a handful of European scientists set sail for the Arctic Ocean, where a meteorite made of an unknown metal has crashed. But as soon as they learn that another ship is racing towards the strange meteorite too, their expedition turns into a true race against the clock.
