Lucky Luke is a French-Belgian comic series of humorous westerns created by the Belgian cartoonist Morris in the 1947 Almanac, a special issue of the Spirou magazine published in 1946. From the ninth story onwards, Morris was joined by several writers, the most famous of whom is Rene Goscinny. Since Morris's death in 2001, the artwork has been handled by Achde.
