Lucky Luke is a Franco-Belgian comic series of comedy westerns created by Belgian cartoonist Morris in the Almanach 1947, a special issue of the Spirou magazine published in 1946. From the ninth story onwards, Morris was joined by several writers, the most famous of whom was René Goscinny. Since Morris's death in 2001, the artwork has been handled by Achdé.
