With the return of the French sports coupé Alpine A110, the national Gendarmerie ordered 26 units of the Pure version. The aim was to renew its fast-response fleet, replacing the Renault Mégane RS among others. The A110 Pure puts out 252 hp, goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and tops out at 250 km/h. The choice follows a long tradition, as the Gendarmerie already used the original Alpine A110 back in the 1960s.
