This prophetically accurate album continues the lunar adventure begun in Destination Moon. Hergé keeps pushing the limits of storytelling, this time sending his heroes into space. Travelling into space is almost routine today, but in the early 1950s imagining such a tale was pure science fiction. It is worth remembering that the album was published in 1954, whereas Armstrong only took his first step on the Moon in 1969.
