The Forest Friends cloth book by Egmont Toys invites baby to discover a tender, poetic world. Right from the cover, an adorable little mouse with big ears peeks out of its burrow. The natural colours and delicate details bring plenty of softness to this first discovery book.
Easy to handle, this book is perfectly suited to little hands. Baby can grab hold of it thanks to the various fabric tabs. They can also turn the pages and gradually discover the characters who live in the forest. A cat, a little pig and other endearing animals accompany their very first explorations.
Every page holds lovely surprises. The gentle illustrations catch the eye. What's more, the varied textures encourage baby to touch and handle the book. Some elements also make soft rustling sounds, gently stimulating attention and curiosity.
The Forest Friends cloth book encourages sensory awakening from the earliest age. It helps baby develop their sense of touch, fine motor skills and coordination. Parents can also name the animals, describe the scenes and make up little stories. The book then becomes a lovely way to share a calm, close moment together.
Thanks to its soft format, this book easily follows baby through the day. It fits in the bedroom, in the changing bag or next to the play mat. And with its natural world and charming finishes, it makes a lovely newborn gift idea.
