Ordered a lovely Maileg item that had sold out in the UK. Arrived really well packaged, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, extra boxes so it wouldn't move around. Really appreciate that attention to ensuring the item didn't get damaged in transit. Wold definitely buy again!

One evening in March, I was riding a bus along the Left Bank of the Seine.
Suddenly, my favorite character, Tintin, caught my eye!
I jumped off at the next stop—though I don’t usually act on such spontaneous—and ran into the store.

Then a “cute dog employee” came running over to me!
He/She was so cute that I was completely absorbed in playing with him, so that I was late in greeting a human employees with “Bonjour”.

L'Oiseau de Paradis is a place that even I, as an adult, found exciting.
I could have stayed there for hours.

Come to think of it, I first kew Tintin when I was 11 years old.
I was home from school with a cold, and I remember lying in bed reading a Tintin book my mother had borrowed from the library—that was my first encounter with the series.

My daughter also loves Tintin books.
She’s an adult now, but she’s particularly fond of "Milou".
(In my country, "Milou" is called “Snowy”.)
So I bought a cute Milou T-shirt as a souvenir for my daughter.

I also bought a memory card game.
Just look at the detailed illustrations on the cards!
I’m looking forward to playing this game this Christmas.

If I have one regret... I forgot to buy a souvenir for myself at this shop!
I will visit L'Oiseau de Paradis again someday and will buy a Tintin T-shirt.

J’avais commandé une figurine de Tintin et Milou. J’ai dû attendre un peu (presqu’un an…) à cause d’un problème de socle mal conçu. Je l’ai finalement obtenu pour mon anniversaire : elle est effectivement superbe. Et surtout un grand bravo à la responsable du magasin : un vraie professionnelle à qui on peut faire complètement confiance !

Wonderful toy store! a little paradise for collectors, well stocked with beautiful quality toys and BD's. Tin tin and Asterix fans will find real treasures. Also beautiful dolls and teddy bears. Well worth a visit. Do take your time. Toddlers give it a colorful and noisy touch!

Ordered from their website which was very simple and my order was ready for pick up within minutes. When I went to get my order the Lady there was so nice and even provided a gift wrap without me mentioning it. (My sister loved the gift)

Je suis heureux de savoir que le plus beau magasin de jouets de Paris est toujours ouvert. C'était mon magasin de jouets tout au long de mon enfance.
J'ai vécu au 24 rue du Bac de 1977 à 1988.
Mes parents m’achetaient tous mes cadeaux d'enfance à l'Oiseau du Paradis.
J'avais 7 ans en 1977.
Quels beaux souvenirs, chaque fois que je vais à Paris voire ma famille et mes amis et que je me promène dans mon quartier, je passe par là et je m'arrête pour observer cette magnifique vitrine, ce magasin fait partie de mon enfance, merci d'être toujours là, aujourd'hui j'ai 54 ans et mes yeux continuent de s'illuminer à chaque fois que je passe devant, merci pour cette magie, merci l’Oiseau.

This is a child's paradise.(Adults too). I accidentally ran into this shop today. It's a wonderful shop with high quality toys, not Chinese made junk. Artisan craft toys for kids, books, games with added friendly staff. Definitely and highly recommended in the center of Paris... Go there even if you don't have a kid...

Une excellente caverne d’Ali Baba pour les petits et les grands aussi. Très bien agencée et décorée. Un large choix de jouets, de figurines...

Excellent show, lots to see good singing and dancing, plenty to drink. Food is not the best; but acceptable.
